Djordje DJOKIC

Djordje DJOKIC

Partner

Co-founder of Privanova, Djordje DJOKIC is a senior data protection executive with extensive experience directing international privacy compliance programmes, and drafting and managing EU-funded projects.

Besides driving the legal affairs of Privanova, Djordje focuses on delivering its R&I and commercial services, with a particular focus on research ethics, data protection and ICT law. His professional experience goes from implementing comprehensive data protection strategies and ensuring regulatory compliance to managing international research projects.

Djordje DJOKIC collaborates with the European Commission as a proposal evaluator, project reviewer and ethics expert. He is a former INTERPOL professional.

Farhan SAHITO

Farhan SAHITO

Partner

Co-founder of Privanova, Farhan SAHITO leverages his expertise in managing cutting-edge projects across diverse realms such as cybersecurity, new technologies, law enforcement, standardization, business, and market strategies. Dr. Sahito possesses extensive experience in overseeing multiple projects under the Horizon Europe, H2020, and FP7 programs, and has coordinated various H2020 projects, including Phoenix. He also represents Privanova on influential platforms such as the United Nations Ad Hoc Committee, UNODC, and the INTERPOL Cyber Exchange Platform.

Dr. Sahito’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Graz University of Technology, Austria; a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Melbourne, Australia; and a Master’s degree in IT and Economics. His professional journey includes serving as a former INTERPOL official and as an Advisor to the UN Secretary-General on the Security Council Sanctions Committee in New York.

Since 2015, Dr. Sahito has been involved as an external evaluator and rapporteur for the European Commission, working across various programs including FP7, H2020, Horizon Europe, the EIC Accelerator, and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.

Attila WOOTSCH

At Privanova, Attila acts as the Research and Innovation program manager, overseeing all project-related activities and financial matters.

With a background in chemistry, renewable energy, and agriculture, he's an accredited Executive Coach and has a decade of academic research and three years of industrial experience.

With 15 years in managing research and development projects funded by the European Commission, he's published 51 peer-reviewed articles and holds one international and two Hungarian patents. Attila earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Budapest and an MSc in economics from Corvinus University.

Dusan PAVLOVIC

Dusan Pavlovic, a seasoned consultant, specializes in legal and ethical aspects of data protection and artificial intelligence. He advises various industries on regulatory and organizational issues related to privacy and data protection programs. He serves as a legal and ethics manager in European Commission-supported research projects focusing on AI development in smart cities, medical treatments, law enforcement tools, and conversational AI. With strong stakeholder management skills, he strategically analyzes complex issues, develops initiatives, and implements them. Dusan's academic qualifications include an LLM from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, and a Ph.D. in Law from Tilburg University, Netherlands, and the University of Bologna, Italy.

Eszter VARGA

Eszter is a Senior project manager at Privanova, responsible for financial project management and resource planning.

Her professional experience includes innovation management, technology transfer, and financial management of large international R&D projects. She is an expert in resource planning and continuous monitoring during project execution.  As an educated scientist, Eszter understands the specific needs and challenges of large R&D projects and has a professional understanding of financial matters. 

Eszter holds PhD in Chemistry and she is also an educated financial expert.

Milica Klavžar is an esteemed EU Project Manager at Privanova, where she brings her extensive experience and expertise to the forefront of the cybersecurity domain. Her current role focuses on managing several critical EU-funded projects, with a particular emphasis on standardization, clustering, and ethics compliance activities.

Her proficiency in proposal writing, coupled with her strategic approach to project execution and interpersonal skills, makes her a highly responsible and reliable team member, dedicated to advancing the mission of Privanova in the cybersecurity sector.

At Privanova, she has been instrumental in crafting project proposals and driving the dissemination and communication of scientific results, ensuring the impact of the projects is effectively promoted. With her ability to integrate design principles with project management processes, Gizella is a key driver of innovation, making her an invaluable asset to the team.

Arzoo is an accomplished Project Manager specialising in EU-funded projects at the intersection of innovation and technology. With a strong academic foundation—holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology—she brings a wealth of expertise to projects related to the energy sector and innovation.

At Privanova, Arzoo has excelled in executing technical project management, identifying and analysing project requirements, and managing stakeholders, ensuring that each project is delivered efficiently and effectively.

Petra MADARAS HOROGH

Petra is an architect with a specialization in Urban Planning and Design from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. With a career spanning since 2013, she has excelled in urban design and development, representing Hungary in the URBACT Monitoring Committee and contributing to the Smart City concept.

Transitioning to the private sector, Petra has become a senior consultant and project manager, overseeing EU-funded urban development projects. She specializes in managing innovative projects under various EU programs and is proficient in project management, cross-cultural collaboration, and community building, believing in their essential role for a better future.

Aayushi GUPTA

Aayushi is Privanova's project manager skilled in client advisory, business consulting, cross-functional collaboration, and business development. With extensive experience managing EU Commission projects, she excels in submitting new proposals under H2020, facilitating communication between the European Commission and consortium members, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Her educational background includes an MBA specializing in Strategy and Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Aayushi is passionate about expanding her knowledge of new technologies and leveraging market trends for actionable business insights.

Xuejiao (TINA) HU

Tina is an experienced project manager with over 10 years of managing projects at INTERPOL, digital transformation, and data analysis in consulting companies. She is an expert in resource and event planning and executing projects from beginning to end. As an educated professional in international security, Tina brings in her understanding and knowledge of current world affairs in addition to project management, and day-to-day operational needs.

Tina is also an alumus of the Reseau Nucleaire & Strategie - Nouvelle Generation. She holds a Masters degree in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and is trilingual in French, English, and Mandarin Chinese.

Ivana HADZI PAJIC

Political scientist holding Erasmus Mundus International Master's degree in Rural Development, jointly organized by Gent University, Humboldt University in Berlin & Faculty for European Studies and Regional Development of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. She also holds a Master's degree in Agribusiness Management and Agriculture Economics, which she gained at the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade.

Within the ten years of professional experience in EU projects management, she has been managing various social-economic and investment projects for public, private and CSOs sector institutions and organizations in Western Balkan Region.

Tamara is an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager, with over a decade of global experience in digital marketing across agency and in-house roles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature but has dedicated her career to managing the digital presence of global brands, supporting local businesses, and crafting personal branding for thought leaders.

Known for her creativity and strategic approach, Tamara brings a wealth of expertise across various digital marketing disciplines. Her skills and experience are instrumental in driving Privanova’s communication and marketing efforts, ensuring impactful campaigns and enhanced visibility in the research and innovation space.
