This October, the European GEOFLEXheat project officially launched with a powerful mission: to unlock geothermal energy’s potential for sustainable industrial heating. With its kick-off meeting held on October 7-8, the ambitious project brought together an array of partners from across Europe, including universities, geothermal operators, industry SMEs, and NGOs. The project is coordinated by Professor Hussam Jouhara from Brunel University of London.
